    1. that’s a great question Tenaia! This definitely becomes easier with time, but I know you sing so it’ll probably be easier than you think! When you sing a song, there’s always a note we gravitate towards to “finsih it.” If you end on a weird note, it doesn’t feel complete. Often, that note that feels like “the end,” is often the “tonic,” of the scale, also possibly the key… If you want to end on an “F,” it’s most likely F major (or F minor if we’re in a minor sounding key). Then you can test out your theory by playing that scale, and see if those notes mostly match up with all the melody notes of the song. Let’s say it’s F major, then most of the melody will be on white keys, except for that one B flat =) Hopefully this helps! But I will admit this takes a little time to get comfortable figuring out the key!
