    1. After going over the process videos a couple more times and giving it a try, I think I may have actually figured it out! Please let me know if A/G# means to just replace A with G#? I tried it and I think that’s what I’m hearing ?

      1. the slash chords can be a little tricky and confusing when the note after the slash doesn’t belong in the chord before the slash. The G# isn’t really part of the A major chord unless you considered the A major chord to be a 7th chord. If it’s a seventh chord, then the 4 notes are A, C#, E, G#. And in this case, if they write A/G#, that would mean you invert those notes so that the bottom one is a G#. I just know, and can hear the chords from the song, so I know it’s G# C# E. I feel the correct way for them to write it would be A7/G#, then there would be no confusion. Hopefully that makes sense! It’s not ALWAYS super clear and obvious! But in this case, I use/listen to the song to know, because since she rolls them, you can tell it’s just 3 notes =) But the short answer is yes, you’re hearing right!! Just replace the A with the G#! =))
