Composer Pages

These vertical and horizontal “Composer Pages” are pulled from the NoteMatch Book 1. In this book, students get the chance to write mini compositions using notes (like A, B, C), rhythm, and finger numbers. See below for more description.

In order to reinforce notes, rhythm, and finger numbers, I’ve recreated the pages from my NoteMatch book into two formats: vertical, and horizontal. This gives students more opportunities to write more mini compositions. I personally like to laminate the pages so that students can write endless compositions! I also like putting these laminated sheets against a magnetic sheet (from Amazon) so that they can also compose using the NoteMatch Magnets!

It’s all about making new concepts fun!

The vertical versions calls for smaller writing and dexterity, whereas the horizontal allows for bigger writing. The ladder might be good for very young students who can’t write small yet.
