How Long Does it Take to Get Through the Course?

I’ve seen teachers knock this piano course out in 4 months and I’ve seen teachers take the full year. It’s a go-at-your-own-pace kind of set up. You can go as quickly or as slow as YOU need! I know, as teachers, our plates are SO full and adding something new may feel overwhelming, which is why I created this as a 12-month plan so that you can have a year to work through the program (and you can even have lifetime access if you want to take longer!) but feel free to work as slow or as fast as you need to! 

Where Can I Watch The Replays (For Workshops or Coaching Calls)?  

If you can’t attend the live workshop or coaching calls each month, don’t worry!! You can watch the replay in the program. Workshops can be found in the “Live Monthly Workshop” unit and the Coaching Calls have their own unit as well. I always try to upload the replays the week we record them! 

What Materials Will I Need To Get Started? 

One of our teachers that finished the course and is certified said it best: it all comes together and makes sense once you go through the entire course. For beginners, I would start with my beginner package which I require for all students who start with me or in my music school. The books included in this package are the Piano Theory book, the Beginner Piano Book, the Monthly Practice Challenge, and NoteMatch Book 1! (Remember, you’ll get a NoteMatch tool and Piano Theory book if you sign up for the one-time purchase!)

Would I Get The Piano Theory Book And NoteMatch With The Monthly Cost? 

After 30 days, you get access to all my books (the PDF version) whether you do monthly or the one-time payment but with the one-time payment, I send the Piano Theory book for free with the piano reading tool, NoteMatch as well, but only in the US. Shipping costs will apply for international purchases. So, although you won’t be shipped a physical copy with the monthly payment, you will be able to access the PDF version after 30 days of being inside the program.

Does This Program Work For In-Person Teaching And Online?

I teach many things in my program and everything is for your use both in-person and for online lessons. We cover a lot of online tips during our monthly workshops and coaching calls, too! So if you ever have any specific questions, those calls are a great time to ask!

What Ages Are The Piano Games And Activities Suited For?

The games, activities, and BOOKS cover ages 5-18 (and I say 18 because that’s how long students stay with me — until they leave for college). The older kids get really good at playing and become more “serious” over the years, so there’s less gaming in the end because they just love playing fancy advanced pieces. But the games and NoteMatch, over the years, help them get to that point pretty early on, around 13 or 14, if not sooner! 

Would This Help With Preschool-Aged Students? 

My method is best used for ages 5 and up, once a student is almost, or ready to read music. I recommend using another method like WunderKeys or Whole Method Foundation for kiddos around 3 or 4. 

What Levels Do The Games And Piano Theory Book Cover?

The games are very friendly and our Piano Theory Book is meant to work really well for ages 5-18. The theory book is the one book I actually use and still recommend to adults as well, even if it’s colorful and “kid-friendly.” The content and concepts a student can learn in that book have a huge range, from beginner to late intermediate, teetering on advanced… so it can definitely be used with adults. The only difference is that when adults go through it, I see them adding notes EVERYWHERE in it, instead of coloring. They tend to write a lot, which makes sense!

What If I Am Only Interested In The Pop Song Method? 

I offer a mini-course of the Pop Song Method for a flat rate of $325! It is an extension of our most popular and sought-after method in the full training course that reveals to teachers how to teach and pick up on any pop song by ear with ease. Can I Cancel Anytime? 

Technically yes you can cancel, but if you’re paying the monthly fee, you would be expected to complete the year. Especially since a month in, you get access to the bonus content, which is an insane value!
