Course Levels:
Level One
Level One allows us to get to know you better! As an introduction to the program, we’ll ask for a few different video recordings, a quick questionnaire, and get you set up for social media!
Level Two
Level Two is where you start to dive into the good stuff. The first half of the Cascade Method Piano Theory Book is where we will begin the training. This book is the tool to teach piano the fun way. You’ll be going through 34 steps which all have videos and notes to cover in-depth!
Level Three
The layout of Level Three is very similar to Level Two. In this level, you’ll learn the other half of the book! Most of the pages covered in this level are considered the “harder pages,” or “more advanced” pages. The pages we already covered in Level 2 are the ones I teach first to my students.
Level 4:
Level Four is all about POP SONGS. Yep, this is one of my biggest secret weapons to getting students hooked on the piano! Pop songs are an ear training method I’ve developed that allow students to have freedom in learning ANY song they want. It takes away the difficulty of reading music notes and rhythm. By the end of this level, you will be a pop song pro!
Level 5:
Level Five is the last heavy training level. As I said, level four is dedicated to ear training and learning songs by ear. I know that being able to read music is just as important. In Level Five, you will learn the easiest way to teach students how to read sheet music with NoteMatch, the piano reading tool!
In this level, I will share with you how I introduce NoteMatch to new students and how quickly they catch on.
Level 6:
The last level is mostly to inspire you further in your piano teaching career. You will officially be Cascade Method-Certified! Throughout this level, I’ll give you additional tips and value points on how to make musicians for life. This is where you’ll receive your certification and officially be a graduate of the program!
